Service description: A dedicated system that allows new Capgemini employees to start working immediately in a foreign language environment.

Description of the challenge

Client’s new employees start working in an international customer environment operating predominantly in German This requires communicativeness and linguistic precision the employees need to achieve within 1 month. Therefore, an absolute requirement is a quick response of the International Language Institute to the client's requests in providing new employees with the opportunity to achieve the language goal in a very short time. Additional challenges include providing the service in several large cities at the same time.

Description of the solution

International Language Institute has prepared a system of dedicated, intensive German language courses, each time tailored to client's business goals and the current German proficiency level of new employees. In order to accelerate learning, students use an interactive online platform for their outside-the-class, own work. The platform material is integrated with the language material introduced during the class. Additionally, in order to increase the effectiveness of language learning, International Language Institute implemented a special version of workshops designed for the Client on accelerated language learning techniques.

Client: CPL JOBS. CPL Jobs is a global recruitment and outsourcing agency operating in 9 countries. CPL Jobs has four branches in Poland: Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań and Wrocław. The company conducts recruitment processes throughout the country.

Service description: A dedicated system enabling immediate feedback in the employee recruitment processes where the main criterion is the level of a non-European foreign language.

Description of the challenge

CPL Jobs recruits employees for positions with various levels of experience. In connection with the recruitment projects, the company reported a need for verification of the knowledge of non-European languages of candidates participating in the recruitment processes. The level assessment process is required for following foreign languages:

  • Chinese language
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Vietnamese
  • Arabic

The specificity of the recruitment industry required a quick and precise description of the recruited candidates’ competence in the above-mentioned languages. The requirement of the project was to assess both passive and active knowledge of the language.

Description of the solution

The International Language Institute has prepared a system of dedicated foreign language proficiency assessment. The system consists of:

  • A dedicated team of teachers ready to evaluate the candidates within 24 hours from the moment of application
  • Tha Level Assessment Report which contains detailed information describing the level of proficiency in the use of the language in the areas of speaking, phonetics and lexis.
  • A dedicated project supervisor who is responsible for the quick realisation of the client’s requests.

Year of implementation - conducting language courses since 2012, taking over of all Generali language services in 2020

Until 2020, the client used a number of English language course providers, who used a varied teaching methodology and organizational systems. The company's business environment required the use of multiple learning models at the same time - from English-focused communication to a hard, English-speaking business environment. An additional challenge is the dispersed structure of the client, who has employees designated to learn English in 27 locations in Poland
