Language certificates, i.e. international language exams, objectively check the foreign language level of employees. They test all language skills: writing, speaking, reading and listening, and grammar. Each of the skills is separately assessed and the overall result of the exam is shown on the CEFR scale.
General language certificates
General language certificates offered by the International Language Institute as part of in-company courses are:
- in English, these are the popular Cambridge exams, i.e. First, Advanced and Proficiency, and TELC exams at levels A2 to C1
- The TOEIC exam in English is gaining more and more popularity due to its simple structure and scoring system
- in other languages, these are TELC examinations at levels A2 to C1
The International Language Institute is an examination center for TELC and TOEIC exams.

Business language certificates
Business language certificates that are integrated with the courses organized by the International Language Institute are:
- in English, Cambridge exams, i.e. BEC Preliminary B1, BEC Vantage B2 and BEC Higher C1, and LCCI exams from level B1 to level C1. The International Language Institute is an LCCI examination center
- in German, ZDfdB exam at B1 + level and PWD at C1 level
